Is Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club only a retirement community? No, Birchwood is a vibrant community with all age groups offering year round activities. Membership consists of year round residents as well as those who enjoy the community for long weekends and seasonal stays.
How many Members does Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club currently have? We currently have 760 Full/Golf Members, 300 Members own homes in Birchwood, 100 Members own Condos & 360 Members are Lot Owners. We also have 90 Social Members.
I/We are interested in building a home in Birchwood are there square footage minimums? Yes, 1,900 square feet is the minimum for a one story home and 2,200 square feet is the minimum for a two story home, both with a two car garage minimum. Birchwood also has an active Architectural Control Committee that establishes and enforces standards to promote aesthetic harmony within Birchwood. We have a Construction Plan Checklist available in our Rules & Regulations.
Does Birchwood Farms Golf & Country Club have Wi-Fi?? Yes, we have a wireless “hot spot” available that can be accessed on most of the main floor of the Clubhouse including the Casual Bar.
Who may use the Club under my/our Membership? Spouses and dependent children 21 years of age and under may use all the amenities without guest charges. Guests are always welcomed and encouraged.
What is the Clubhouse dress code? Blue denim, bathing and fitness attire with proper cover up or sweat suits are allowed south of the elevator including the Casual Bar & Golf Pro Shop. The Casual Bar is the only dining area where blue denim is allowed. Hats or other head covers are not to be worn by males within the covered areas of the Club, aside from the Three-Way area and the Golf Shop.
What is the golf course dress code? Denim is not allowed on the golf course. Men and boys must wear shirts with collars, turtlenecks or mock turtlenecks. Mock turtlenecks must be a minimum of 1 ¾” in length, measured from neck seam to top of collar. All shirts must be tucked in. No cut-offs, short shorts, tank tops, tee shirts or blue jeans are allowed. All cuffs of shorts must not be higher than mid-thigh length.
Am I/We allowed to have our own Golf Cart? No, carts are rented through our Golf Pro Shop.
What are the Fitness Center hours? The Fitness Center is open daily from 6:00 am - 10:00 pm year round
